Kansas City FCA Impact

6,500 coaches 100,000 athletes

Check out Mission Trail Middle School Huddle being led by Mitch Holthus - "Voice of the Chiefs" and proud grandpa of one of our FCA student leaders!

Mitch shared a story about flying through a storm and the importance of a compass—reminding students that our hearts need one too, centered on Jesus.

He broke life down with a simple fraction analogy: Reality over expectation—and showed how Christ remains steady no matter the combo (Good/Good, Bad/Good, Good/Bad, Bad/Bad).

He challenged students to journal where they see God show up—because His faithfulness is always worth remembering.

Ford Bevins, football player at Blue Valley Northwest, is leaning into faith as he navigates both the known and the unknown. As an athlete, he has experienced success on the court and field, re cognizing that his gifts come from God.

Oxford Middle School FCA students were encouraged and challenged by Ford's story of trusting God no matter the outcome. He reminded them that happiness is fleeting, but joy is found in the Lord.

He realized that his purpose wasn’t just about winning games—it was about giving his best for God, both on and off the field.

Shawnee Mission West FCA had such an incredible time visiting the Life 88.5 radio station as an FCA Huddle!

They got a behind-the-scenes look at the station and had so much fun learning about the impact of faith through media.

They were so grateful for the opportunity to grow in faith and community with these amazing people.

From Huddle Coach, Deb Larson:

"Justin Hall, former 5x All American Track athlete from Texas Tech spoke at the Ray Pec High School  about the importance of God’s word in our lives. It was such a blessing to witness God’s work in Justin’s life as I have known him since he was 2 years old. He is a such a great role model for young athletes."
